After living in our apartment for two months, we finally managed to throw the housewarming parties we’ve been itching to do since we moved to our new nook.
Since our housewarming was split into two batches, we decided to prepare the same dishes for both days. This plan worked out well because not only did we need to buy the same ingredients for the food we served but we also managed to whip up the dishes quite easily on the second day because we already anticipated the amount of preparation time we needed.
For appetizer, hubby took a stab at preparing potato salad, which I personally love. we also served some chips and cheese dip in case the guests wanted to nibble on something before digging in to the mains. The viands served were inihaw na liempo, embutido, buttered shrimps, and beef with oyster sauce – all prepared by the husband. Bessie B cooked her famous chicken pastel, while I made sweet spaghetti (which my friend's Irish bf loved to bits!). For dessert, hubby baked his famed chocolate crinkles and butterscotch, much to the guests’ delight.

thank you! :) the secret pala sa embutido is the egg that holds the loaf secure. try mong mag-add ng 1 egg sa recipe mo. Ryan says it should work. goodluck! :)
